  • this looks really good!
will the sequencer work on the au!?

  • Lead demo:

  • Pairing 4 instacnes of VAMono with Riffer 3 and it’s coma-time...

Wonder how heavy it is on the CPU?

  • Every time I see the title of this thread I think it says "Wamono" and I get Hifana stuck in my head

  • Just bumped into this Polivoks video...

...wonder how close VAMono will get?

Funny, I remember Vámonos Pest/Breaking Bad and the one song I associate with the show: DLZ bt TV on the Radio

I might actually buy this one, haven’t bought a synth in a while, and it sounds pretty clean in a good way. Better get to releasing it though before my credit is eaten up by my monthly subscriptions!

On another note, is his drum synth any good? The description makes it seem like an 808 clone, which I hope it is not. Is it? And is it worth 20?

  • Sequencer demo:

  • dang this thing out yet?!

  • I still do wonder how heavy this will be on the poor CPU in my iPad Air 2.
Even the old Viking can push the CPU >60% when using the non-linear filters and osc3 to audio-rate modulate the cutoff.

I do like the noises it makes though.

Actually having a lot of fun with this. Decided to take the plunge today. The 64 built in step sequencer is sub divided into 4 which can be looped to different intervals and the automation lanes are well put together you can record real-time into them which is very neat.

It’s a great little synth to learn to program on I say. Very well put together. Does have 1 or 2 issues that I’m not sure as yet maybe user related as still learning my way around but overall I’m happy.

@Samu on a iPad Pro 9.7 2016 I’m hitting 42% DSP in AUM with effects added.

The automation parameters show what’s listed as standard but I think they can be customised.

Has a well written built in manual aswell.

Improvements I would like to see the automation and step sequencer get a full screen view at some point via the section view long press button.

Stability improvements had 1 or 2 stuck notes with the sequencer running as I think you can sustain notes together so maybe me rather than a bug. Had one crash as a AU.

  • Sounds really good! I hope a poly synth is down the pipeline!

  • What’s the verdict!
I kinda have too many poly synths but it seems to have some great sound

  • Next time this goes on sale I may consider it especially if it becomes fully universal (ie. IPhone, iPad and macOS in one purchase).

I’m still not convinced if I need it or not...

I know right lol i want em all but then i don’t always use em, but this thing seems to have a really phat versatile sound so I’ll probably get it today since i got a Apple gift Card lol

    Ditto.

  • I grabbed this one.
First off most the presets sound almost identical , they don’t really have any variation.
The clips section has some issues with navigation and trying to delete certain clips is impossible, I’ve tried to delete clip 3 several times but it still remains, i was finally able to clear it but the clip itself still plays thru the empty sequence and wont let me get rid of it.

I dunno it seems like it can def get some gritty mono bass sounds but I’m having a hard time making it sound good.

Id love to hear what people have created with it and hear some different presets. I’m not really having fun with it at the moment but maybe it’s just that I’m not feeling very inspirational rn lol

  • Yeah, it definitely needs to be worked out...but it is definitely capable ...especially if you add like an eq to it

  • The reason this looks good besides the actual synth which looks moderate... Should be on Mac and iOS and as far as I know the only other is the Moog. The other ones from more indie devs seem to have issues on Mac besides standalone... Anyone know this dev?
