  • same problem here @bleassapp

  • Phew, it just downloaded itself. I thought I was being punished for buying 1 too many apps yesterday and almost cancelled the pre-order! o:)

  • It works if you press buy it it doesn’t charge you.

  • Mine auto downloaded but from previous experience of pre-orders you don't get charged again if you hit install...

  • Ok so I preordered this nothing dropped yet and the price has bumped up to £7.99 I haven’t had a email either Apple WTF

What is the advantage to pre-order?

Sometimes the pre order is a lower price. It’s now $7.99 was $3.99 on pre order.

I liked shaper for distortion. Don’t have this one yet though

  • Shaper is brilliant also but lacks the inbuilt and very flexible lfo this has, just to mention the most noticeable difference.

  • Yes, if you have pre-ordered it, you won't be charged if you press the buy button

  • Well, this was fun. I tapped the link in the pre-order confirmation e-mail got to a 'blank' page at the AppStore.

Searched for Bleass Saturator and pressed buy and it downloaded without asking for any kind of password which I have enabled for all purchases :D (Yepp, got the 'pre-order' price so all is good).

This was/is definitely a glitch in the AppStore that hopefully will not get repeated...

Time to trash some audio and saturate/boost the microphones background noise :D

    Cheers!

  • Here’s what happened to me - I preordered yesterday, it said ‘view’ which did nothing. Today it showed the full price of £7.99 or whatever it was, I tapped on it expecting to be taken to the confirmation screen but it opened straight away - so it looks like we are getting it for the pre-ordered price, so you can tap in the new price and get the old one by the looks of it.

  • Worked for me in the end just pressing “buy” and it downloaded without trying the charge me again. Great stuff, might have gone a bit overboard with it ;)

Maybe if you click buy it doesn’t charge the full price and it recognises the preordered. Anyone brave?

    That’s exactly what happened here.

That was great! Reminded me of Sonic Boom’s EAR stuff. How many tracks are on that? Did you use the BLEASS Saturator on all of them?

Thanks! It's actually a single instance of Monoke (which ok is technically two synths in one) and a a bunch of BLEASS effects on the effects chain (couple of filters, shimmer verb, and saturator). Plus a bit of mastering in cubasis to tame some of the dynamics.

Dammit, @mangecoeur, I’ve successfully resisted Mononoke thus far, but this might push me over the edge.

Seriously: well done. Really like this track.

Ah, makes sense and what a great synth Mononoke is. BLEASS effects are wonderful. Right up there with FAC for my go to processors. I'll check out your Soundcloud and listen to more.

  • When I got the preorder ready notification, I downloaded it from my purchased list...so no fears of double charging that way. FYI.

This is thing is awesome (no surprise, all BLEASS apps are awesome). Very musical and inspiring!!

  • codes to give away - see pinned comment under the video.

  • Works well to bring out the tones in Fundamental.

Works well to bring out the tones in Fundamental. Never got round to getting that. I really fancy it. Do you recommend it?

  • Am I the only person who feels this is too much in the distortion corner to be called saturation? Is anyone getting subtle saturation out of it?

I would definitely see it more as a distortion device, it can do saturation but I would probably go for magic death eye or Nembrini psa 1000 or something for that.

  • Agreed Gav. It certainly can do subtle but it does wild very well and yes for milder distortions there are better apps. Like othe BLEASS stuff - great tone shaping possibilities, incredible clarity, untraditional but logical.

  • Thank you all for your tremendous enthusiasm about the BLEASS Saturator release! We are very sorry to hear that some of you experienced some difficulties with the AppStore : the end of pre order and special price where meant to happen all at the same time on release day, but it seems that there are many latencies on the AppStore these days... Anyway would you have any problem feel free to reach us on our social pages or via feedback #AT# bleass dot com

if you are happy with this release, also feel free to leave a review on the AppStore! it helps us a ton!

We have updated our website with all the great videos and tutorials about the saturator which you can watch here:

Ok, I def like the movement you can get. I think it’s a keeper.

Definitely a keeper, I think it would be my current go-to for dialing in quick distortion. The lfo is so handy, and Iove Bleass interfaces.
