@j_liljedahl is one of the few who can pull off a awesome granular plus drone app...something like the borderlands granular app which is more or less dead now...

The app I'm using in the track above is something I've been working on very slowly for a long time, and I don't know when I will finish it. But it's kind of the ultimate drone and noise synthesizer according to my own personal taste and needs. I can not guarantee that everyone agrees

@dpg499: Microtonal as in non-12TET. The frequencies used are not on the standard western scale.

Too bad. I would love to see an app that sounds kind of like the Lyra 8 hardware drone synth. Being able to move beyond 12et is mandatory for drones.
Here's hoping the Droneo guy will build us something cool in the near future....
