Does NuRack Auv3 FX's sidechain compression only work with AUM?

I've been trying to figure out if the sidechain compression in NuRack only works with multibus audio (so AUM), or if it also provides another way so that it works in other hosts (such as Cubasis). I know that Woodpressor uses an independent mechanism so that it can work in DAWs that don't support multibus audio, but I can't get a clear answer on NuRack.

    Yes, you need multibus AU for NuRack to sidechain.
