Question about setting up Keystep 37 and MIDI Twister Fighter to be used simultaneously with iPad

I use my iPad with the Lightning to USB3 Camera Adapter, which has a USB-A jack. However I can't connect it to my powered USB hub because the hub has USB-A jacks and all my USB cables are USB A to USB B. I was thinking of using the hub to connect both the Keystep 37 and MIDI Fighter Twister to the iPad until I realized i don't have the right cable.

Is there a such thing as a USB hub with a USB-B jack? Or will I have better luck looking for a USB-A to USB-A cable?

There are plenty of hubs with USB-B jacks, or hardwired jacks with usb-a on the other end for under $15. It should make no difference whether you get one of those or use a USB-A to USB-A cable, and the cost will be about the same I expect.

Black cable from hub goes to CCK, plug lightning cable from CCK into Apple USB Power Adapter block.

No, only the Fighter Twister.

I'll probably hit up DJTechTools for yet another round tomorrow, for a Scarlett 18i8 and a bunch of cables. The Scarlett should make it easier to route audio back and forth between iPad/AUM and hardware gear.

I hear you. They told me the shipment of 3D Fighters is coming any day now. I’m so tempted to pull the trigger back order, but my wisdom is telling me to hold off for some reason. 😂
