Cubasis 2....copy midi and automation...but sounds different.
Hello.
I copied a 4 bar section with SynthMaster One as AU. There was also automation data supposedly copied. I even glued automation of amp envelope.
However, the copied part doesn’t sound the same as first 4 bars.
Why doesn’t copied 4 bars sound like original?
I checked the one midi note played in first 4 bars...and it doesn’t overlap into copied bars.

So.. I can’t copy automation written in SynthMaster One, from one section to another....?
The feature to move automation data with events was added to Cubasis 3.
In v2, automation data resides on the track - you can manually select all automation data from source event (from the track where source event is located) and copy into the track where target event is located using the automation editor. Tap Select in the source event, double tap to select all automation data, tap Copy, go to automation editor of target event, select the correct automation parameter, position the Playhead, tap paste. Not hard and no big deal.
