TC-Data ninja needed!
I’m a noob with TC-Data but what I want to achieve seems pretty simple:
I have a simple XY template and I would like the value of each axis to return to 0 whenever I release a press.
So the XY should behave as usual but when not touched, it should default to a 0 value. That way I can bring in crazy Live macro modulations and if I stop tweaking, then my synth patch safely goes back to the original preset.
Extra nice would be if I could set an envelope for the release, so that it defaults back to 0 smoothly
This is something I could probably do with Lemur but Lemur doesn’t seem to support split screen, which I need. I went through the manual and looked into “tables” but didn’t find such option.
Any help from experience TC-Data users much appreciated

I only have an infantile understanding of the program but I think if you edit the patch and look in the midi note section "Note (Note) select "Angle to Center". Then when you go back to the grid where ever you touch the origin will always be the center of the grid and when your release it will snap back to center.
TC-Data Manual pg 65
Angle to Center - The angle between a touch
and the center of the screen.
Thanks a lot!!!!! This works for Midi Notes and led me to find the solution for CCs: the "Distance to group Center".
It needs 2 fingers but it's very cool, for example by keeping one finger pressed and pressing again in another area you can jump to high values very fast... Wish there was an envelope for smoother values jumps but it's great already.
Thank you
