Looking for good "stick hit" from Patterning 2

I'm trying to create a backing track for Bruce Springsteen's hit 'I'm on Fire' which has a simple kick and a stick hit type beat. I've managed to get something close in GarageBand but I really would like to do this with whatever apps I have on hand and I'm drawing a blank.

Is there a good drum rimshot or stick hit within Patterning 2? I must be missing it but none of the 8 or so kits I've downloaded have included one.

Comments

  • I’m not sure, but one of the acoustic kits must have one? If not, you could always bounce the stick hit you like from GarageBand and import it.

  • Sample it from the original maybe?

  • I was just playing with it now, the g funk kit has a nice cross stick that would work for I’m on Fire.

  • Thank you all, will go check out a few different kits. I tried the downsampling but that isn't really quite right. Thanks @mrufino1 for the recommendation for that specific kit, much appreciated.

You’re welcome. I always forget how fun patterning is to use, so thanks for making me open it.

  • Check Eprom, or try any of the LinnDrums on the kit cloud. Not saying its a sure thing since theres only 8 instrument slots, but thats about what youre looking for

  • Alternatively, check your PMs
