There’s no reason it couldn’t be universal, maybe there are plans for it to be, who knows? It would certainly open up even more sales for them. Syntronik is universal and does the same module type thing (37 fx and 5 per), Amplitube is universal. So here’s hoping...
Ok thanks everyone. I bought the damn thing. Now I'm overwhelmed with choices again. Time to buckle down and figure out how to get my money's worth. I must say the sound coming from it is quite good though honestly not yet better than my Nembrini Sound Master and Thafknar-enabled Ownhammer IRs just yet. But I think paired up together this is hopefully going to create some excellent tone modeling and maybe tame down my overly hot sounding Ibanez RG570 a bit more to my current taste. Then again, for what I've spent on apps chasing that tone I probably could have just bought a different guitar.
+1 for these written out instructions. I'm usually pretty smart with this stuff but I was missing the "press to hold" in step 4 and couldn't get it to share it to MixBox. Solved!
Really?? It should cost the same as iPad version and free for those who already bought it on one device, and vice versa.
lol I figured, still wanted to speculate though...
Just finishing a first track using MixBox. I never would have bought it at $80... but not because it’s not perhaps worth that... just too much for me for an FX bundle. That being said, I would miss out on a great learning experience and a really fun sonic laboratory.
Win a code! See details pinned below my YouTube video. MixBox is too deep to do a tutorial in one video, so here I run through a lot of presets with a lot of different instruments and vocals to give you a good idea what the app is or isn’t capable of.
In case anyone is curious, checking out the thread but hasn’t bought it yet.
Your youtube picture looks like a german pro hockey uniform. Its not good.
Not really what we’re about here, mate. If you have something constructive to say, do; if not, don’t. We’re not here to try to tear others down.
Fair point and noted. Apologies @Jamie_Mallender (it's just a pet peeve of mine) it's nothing personal.
Apology accepted. The hockey stick is an 8 string octave bass, one of a kind made for me free of charge by Trevor Wilkinson. I meant to play it in the video and totally forgot. 😂 It has been brought to my attention that my thumbnails do my videos no favours. I’m working on that.
