My childhood guitar nemesis, Lars Boquist, keeps haunting me.

So we were friends and got our first guitars at about the same time. Early seventies and were about 11-12 years old. After about a year I still only play 'smoke on the water' while everybody talks about Lars incredible talent. Later he would go on and be mentioned in articles in the big US guitar magazines what not and has a bunch of stuff on spotify if you wanna listen for more. Now more than 40 years later we actually met again and I've been doing some graphic stuff for one of his projects. But, he still gets at my nerves the way he plays and I don't .. so sad :( (joking)

    Ha ha ha, it does. It really does. 😂😂 Jokes aside though: I think it goes quite well with the guitar striping which I assume is the intention. :smiley:

I’m just not into Van Halen. Anyway, sorry if I got too personal - my sense of humor can go a little overboard. Please accept my apologies.

    Absolutely. No hurt intended, and your friend is, I am sure, incredibly talented. I may not be into VH, but I know that it takes major chops.
