MIDI Learn - Mute/Unmute
Hopefully someone can help me: I would like to muted and unmute an APP with MIDI learn in Audiobus. The control should be done by an external keyboard (SV2) by pressing a certain key. Unfortunately, I haven't had any success in this regard yet! Until now, either the mute or unmute function was always possible, but not alternately when the same button was pressed. I also don't understand what the "Toggle" function means in this context. See also the attached picture ...

Do you know what midi message your controller is sending? Is it note, cc momentary or toggle? Could be several others like RPN and NRPN but I don’t think those are recognised by AB.
If you don’t know use midi scope app to determine that and report back.

Ah ok, just looked properly at your screenshot. So it is a note message. Can you set up your controller to send cc?
First though, have you tried setting it to momentary? This way each time you press the key it should toggle between states.
In the meantime I have solved the problem, since the note that is responsible for the mute / unmute only needs to be specified in MIDI learning under “Toggle”. I thought you had to store something in the MUTE folder or the Unmute folder, but that is no longer necessary!
