Audiobus output recorder
Before I ask @Sebastian or @Michael for this feature I thought I'd ask you wise folk in this forum if you had any ideas to tackle this. I'm running three pipelines with some apps but would like to capture the overall AB output and I have to say I'm struggling. I have multiple instances of MTDaw in outputs which unavoidably forced buffer from 128 to 512 (damn). This however failed to record the final mix or most precisely my live guitar tinkling. This is the screenshot. Ideally I'd like to avoid any heavy weights of the app world as I'd love to keep the buffer at 256 max. Any ideas?

Could there be a main out slot?

Would throwing your second chain on the bottom help? What if your first chain was your amp into loopy, and your next chain was loopy system output to MTD? Would that capture all your guitar noodlings?

I may have not quite understood what you were asking. After rereading it I think CSwinn might be on to something as Loopy has individual loop outlets as well as a loopy system out (all loops master out) but I'm not sure that's what you want.
I thought you were asking for a light weight app to record in the output slot of AB2.

No worries man @yowza I'm gonna try CSwinn's idea tomorrow (midnight over here) but I doubt just inverting pipelines will rec the whole mix. I hope it will though

I just tried my suggestion and MTD definitely picks up all my guitar playing through Loopy regardless of if I created loops, I think it's what you're after. Good luck!
Mmmmm, I've just tried it (couldn't resist) and I still don't have the un looped audio. Also mtdaw doesn't give me the monitoring at first and I have to unplug and then replug it to hear myself. I'll get back to it tomorrow. Cheers
