Aum file player trigger

I’m trying to trigger the play enable button with a midi cc from a midi app. I have midi lFO running on a midi channel. I want to set it up so that every time the square wave goes up, it triggers the play enable button.
how do i route to that button?

  • does it have to come from a midi source outside Aum?

  • When you have a file-player on a track it does have normal automation options.

Here midi note 60 is used to trigger the sound and CC13 is used to control the speed/pitch.

Here's an old clip I did to test if atom could be used to sequence a file-player in AUM (Rozeta LFO is controlling the pitch).

that helps a bit, but still trying to wrap my head around it. how do you have atom and rosetta linked to the sample players’ track? i can’t seem to find a way to join them in the midi connections panel.

also love the file name of that video file 😀

You can select any source in the Midi Sources menu...

Look closely in the video :)

    And

You can clearly see that both Atom and Rozeta are selected :)

    Cheers & Good Luck!

  • ohh do you send some and lfo to midi control built in?
hmm i wonder if i could trigger this in the new AUM Midi Mixer app?
