AUM Lanscape view iPhone

I saw that this request came up before.

For some (probably many) of us the CPU on our iPhone is faster than the one on our old iPAD. So the iPhone can become a crucial device for production. The reason that the landscape view matters for AUM is that one wants to be in landscape view for all the synths. The camera connection kit dongle is already poorly designed and hard on the charging port (I just replaced my port); constantly grabbing the phone to flip between landscape and portrait view is not fun. AUM is the premiere DAWless DAW (IMO) on iOS. Can we get landscape view in AUM happening, please oh please?

    I’ve requested landscape mode in AUM several times, but I guess the dev is just busy. Would totally love an update that had proper landscape mode on iPhones..

    I'm hoping to implement this in the future, but it's a lot of work because the whole view would need scaling down to fit in landscape on iPhone. And there are many many parts of the code that needs some care to handle such rescaling, converting to/from original and scaled coordinates at the right places etc. And yes, I am busy :) Currently with the AUv3 versions of my old AUFX apps as well as quite a big AUM update.

    I figured as much. I was thinking after I posted this that I wanted to mention that AUM has been extremely useful. It is minimal, low CPU and DAWless. The connectivity with the Digitakt MIDI->USB firmware update is amazing. I like to run Audulus 3, which is still Inter-app Audio and consumes endless CPU because it is endless. Being able to easily route MIDI and host everything has been irreplaceable to me. It keeps me working out of the box in the box. Absolutely fantastic piece of software. Thanks so much!
