Unusual sounds? Ivcs3!
AddStation for me. Additive Synthesis, sounds great, intuitive and highly tweakable user interface which invites experimentation. Very versatile. Can sound very digital and outlandish but can also do analogue type sounds
Starting looking at the list of synths in my pad....you might get there in Continua, Volt and LayR as well....unusual might be a bit of Kronecker as well as that can take you to some pretty interesting places.
