Mini tease of Waves Tune RT in Cubasis 3.2 upcoming update

Hi there guys, this is a mini tease of the new iAP Waves Tune RT in Cubasis 3.2 upcoming update

Here for any questions.
it works fabulously on iPadOS beta 14.3 💪🏽💪🏽

Comments

  • iOS/iPadOS 14.3 is out of beta already. It was released yesterday ;)

Can you 'lock' the pitch of the vocal to a certain note? (ie. monotone vocals that stay within one octave).
(This is one thing does not work well with the AudioTune from AudioKit as it jumps between octaves when trying to lock the pitch to one note).

This could be very handy to transpose the vocal to match key-changes in the tune.

And how well does Cubasis automation work with this?

I'll get it for sure on Monday but it's still some days to go hehe...

    Cheers!

    Nice question
It comes with a “Formant” option to enable or disable. Basically this allows you to change the pitch without the voice sounding like a mouse when you choose a higher pitch.
This preserves the tone of the voice, so a male voice would stay in the male deeper zone.
Also has the range section where you choose between Soprano, baritone, tenor, alto, mezzo soprano, soprano and generic.
    I hope this helps .😊

I was more looking for the 'Target Pitch' but I guess that will come if/when it get's midi support and supports user scales where it's possible to manually choose to which direction the pitch is corrected or something.

Oh yeah that section is messing. And the keyboard section in waves RT desktop is also missing.
Let’s hope we get that one day.

  • The formant option is missing from iOS Autotuners (except ReTune in Auria). This’ll be a great feature to have, the demo sounds very smooth and natural, awesomeness. Thanks @Paa89

  • Yea....auto tune....how much do we reckon for in app purchase?
No doubt also in a bundle too?
    Thanks....

  • If the AppleStore leak is anything to go by it'll be $4.99 for the Waves Tune Real-Time IAP and it will not be included in the Waves Bundle.

The H-Delay will however be included in the Waves Bundle and those who already have the Waves bundle will get it for free.

On Monday we'll know for sure :)

Year it’s very helpful. The app is very pro like in my opinion.
Let’s take iOS Auto tune for example, when I apply that to my vocals, the sound has latency compared to the rest of the track.
AudioTune is great but has a robotic fell sometimes.
With Tune RT, no latency and no robotic feel.
Let’s hope the rest of the parameters available on the desktop come to iOS soon.

@Samu is right on this on.
Waves Tune RT should be by itself in the price range @Samu stated.
The delay could be purchased by its self for the same price, or as a bundle if you don’t own the previous waves apps.
Don’t quote me on this though since the final release might change.☺️
