Audiokit apps tend to crash
why are digital d1 and fm player 2 (by audiokit) still crashing on me ? all the time ?! it is sad
there is no updates for 8 months ((

The apps were their first entry on iOS and were a bit “resource heavy”. I believe their other apps got a bit better, like the House Mark1.
That said, I use them like IAA apps in Garageband. By that, I mean, I find the sound I want, then record it into the sampler. That way, it doesn’t use as much resources, and I can edit the MIDI.
The AR909 refuses to work in Audiobus. Annoyingly.
Works fine here. Have you tried rebooting your device?
If that doesn't fix it, details of which device, iOS version, and the behavior you're seeing would be helpful.
It doesn't load in Loopy Pro either
It's fine here. There's something up with your device or your AR 909 installation.
Reboot. Details. If you want help.
Tried several reboots. 15.2, ipad 5th gen. It’s permanently greyed out and asks for a restart. That does nothing.
Have you tried deleting it and re-installing?
No, but i will now
Nah, didn’t work, still the same outcome.
That's really weird. I've heard lots of complaints about the lag on the kick drum timing, but never a complaint like you describe.
@Colourman - does it run in standalone? Have you ever run it in standalone? Some apps require running in standalone once before they’re fully installed to work as plugins.
Funny, this happens to me also. Ran stand-alone, recent restart. Does not load as AUv3 in Audiobus (repeated Reload), works fine in AUM. iPad 6, iPadOS 15.2.
Edit: And it looks like each of my attempts at loading caused a SIGSEGV in AR-909 AU. They all say
0x10 is not in any region
, obviously. So there's some miscommunication loading the AU in Audiobus. I see the same error trying to load AR-909 AU in apeMatrix.I remember that, with iPadOS 15, there was an issue about a non-null pointer being required when interfacing AUv3s, even if a feature was not used. Could this app be tripping on that?
Worth reporting to the audiokit pro folks through their web site. I don't think they visit AB Forum often.
I'm too lazy to do anything about it, but I bought D1 a couple of months ago and it always crashes after a few minutes. Worst app I have.
Reinstalled LP and Ar 909, rebooted but the problem persists. I'm running 15.2 on a 9th gen Ipad.
909 loads in Cubasis 3, Aum and in standalone mode
Confirmed. It's an iOS 15 issue. I was testing on my iPad which is still on 14.8. The AR909 app needs to be updated to work with several hosts in iOS 15.
I'm not sure where that would be reported. I don't use AR909 enough to take the trouble to find out.

Thanks mate!
Cheers for your knowledge, I had already informed Audiokit. It runs fine as standalone & loads into GB without probs. Just seems to be AB that makes it upset, or more accurately, ambivalent as it does nothing.
