Ravenscroft 275 won't load as AUv3: "Couldn't communicate with a helper application."
I just purchased R275 for an iPad Air 1 with iOS v12.4.9 (the last update for iPad Air 1). It won't load in AUM or Audiobus (current versions) as AUv3. It also failed to load as AUv3 in Cubasis 2.
AUM gave an error message: "Couldn't communicate with a helper application."
I next tried loading R275 as IAA. It worked, but not in stereo: the only sound is in the right side. After testing in AUM and Audiobus, I found the same problem in the standalone app: sound only from one side.
I deleted the app, rebooted, and reinstalled the same app. I could get stereo in the standalone app, but AUv3 failed again. When I loaded the app as IAA, I could only get sound in the right side. After closing AUM, I reloaded the standalone app and now it only had sound in the right side as well.
I'm sure Apple will process a refund if I ask, but first I thought I would check here to see if these problems are related to the new update. I would have entered a tech support request at UVI's own website, but it's only set up to process requests from Windows and Mac users.

I've just updated the app (They updated it yesterday I think) and I've got the same problem. I don't think it's your device, I'm running an iPad Pro 2020 and it working fine before the update and they seem to have completely messed it up with that

RC275 is broken over here as well on my iPad 5th gen (2017) running iOS 13.7. I tried opening the AUv3 in AB3 and Garageband but it wouldn't open. Hopefully they will release a fix soon.

Weirdly enough, that is the same error message some people are getting with Roli Noise

Same here. I'm on a 12.9" iPad Pro (2018) running iPadOS 14.3. I submitted a support ticket. Maybe if they get enough tickets, they'll do something sooner than later.
Like with some of you, Ravenscroft is my piano. It's in nearly all my projects. 😢

I am a heavy RC user. Would you guys ever consider bringing some of your other pianos to iPad?
Had a concert yesterday and updated Ravenscroft the day before.... had to change all settings and using Beathawk piano on the fly because the error message ☹️
Version 1.1.5 is now available on the App Store - Please let me know if something is still not in order.
