Io / BeatHawk Total Bass

edited December 2020 in Creations

The new Total Bass inapp provides some nice variants I think, and worth a fiver. Two tracks of Jazz Double Bass an octave apart. World Synth keeps working, Breathy Flute and Hollow Ney. House Mark1 EP and Module Cello+ Strings. My journey outward on schedule.

  • Sounds great again, love the flute! What pack is it in? Any other revés on World Synth packs?

  • Thanks @king_picadillo. I told @Gavinski there we’re just a couple of great sounds in World Synth, but I keep finding more. And it works splendidly. The best implementation of the AudioKit code, IMO. This app has a lot of possibilities I will never reach.

The Breathy Flute, coming in first is free with the initial download. The Hollow Ney, which is more like a shakuhachi comes in later. I recommend the Arabian and Anatolian Delights inapps.

  • @LinearLineman , not keen on Big Jupe but I like this one. Just personal preference. At somewhere past 1:40 it reminded me a bit of Jeff Wayne’s war of the worlds which I guess is appropriate. Your output is something that I can only aspire to. Excellent stuff.

  • @GeoTony, I discovered Jeff Wayne’s War of the Worlds two years ago and I watched it three times with Richard Burton narrating. Someone told me Wayne was not the real creative power behind it.
    Either way, a wonderful achievement.

Just learn to improvise and get old and retired... then add a melange of iOS synths and apps... you’ll see your output soar. 🌋🥳🤯
