Beathawk - Ableton Live Set Export - How?
Hey guys,
As the title suggests, I'm struggling to get this to work.
Beathawk - Ableton Live Set Export - How?
Anyone kind enough to post a working solution? ( appreciation & gratitude )
I've been reading some old threads and it seems this has always been a bit clunky.
Thanks in advance.

Seems, Song Mode.. Export.
Seems like it’s broken here (ios14.3) .. Did it all the time... prior..
Edit.. read somewhere that an new version is about to hit..
Go to the song mode page.
Tap export
Choose Ableton Live Set as the format
— that puts a zip in your User Area in BeatHawk
Use Beathawk’s browser to get to your user area and the Zip file will be there in the Exports/ABLive folder
Thanks guys. However following these steps produces neither a zip file or AB Live folder.
I can get a MIDI file, Song file & WAV files,
...but the Ableton Live export isn’t working for me. No file representing this turns up in my User area.
Just updated and sound no longer work for left channel (it's very very faint). Have tried a restart. I'm on 14.3. I don't know too much about Beathawk as I just bought it the other day. Anyone else having this?
It works for me. I have not updated to the newest version, I use iOS 13.7
I did the export in standalone mode. I tried it before posting.
I've tried on iOS 12 (ipad Pro), 13 (mini) 14 (Phone).
And no joy on either.
Like I said, I can get all the other file types but not ALS.
None of my devices have an Ableton Folder within Beathawk. I see the Export folder but they don't appear in there either.
@espiegel123 Maybe you can see if I'm missing a step?
I uploaded a 30 second video of me trying this again. (no sound).
I definitely clicked on the Ableton Export. The .mid file you'll see listed there was an earlier test. Mid files are fine.
@espiegel123 Can I ask the name of the folder you're finding your ALS in? Maybe I could create a folder with the exact same name and perhaps this will get things working. Cheers.
The folder it created is called ABLIVE
Did you save your project before exporting?
Thanks. @espiegel123
I did yes. Thanks for the suggestion though.
EDIT: I just created a new Directory in Exports folder named ABLive so it replicates your screenshot, but this didn't work unfortunately.
I got in touch with UVI and having seen the video they said something seems wrong and will investigate.
Cheers.
If you haven't contacted UVI, I recommend doing that.
It is also probably worth trying with one of their sample songs to see if the behavior is the same.
Have you powered down your device?
How much free space is available on your device?
Thanks for the Suggestions. I have Contacted UVI they're now investigating.
I did try with no luck on this either unfortunately.
Yes I've tried the power downs and have at least 20GB available Space.
Fingers Crossed UVI can get to the bottom of it for me. It does seem strange.
Thanks again though.
