Potential AB candidates
Any thoughts/votes on what non-AB music apps out there might be potential AB candidates? There are a bunch of noisemakers out there, but I would say that AudioBus has done a good job of collecting either the good ones or the ones their devs see the value of AB compatibility in.

Star Trek Vulcan Harp
edit: Good thread idea, btw!
This : http://www.patatap.com/ . Lower right corner changes sound sets. Open in Safari and "add to homescreen", it'll install as a webapp. Yea I know AB is not possible right now, but I wanna see this as a native app, it's just way fun and awesome.
PowerBeat 2:

Nanoloop.
Sequential
Easy for me - Rock Drum Machine and Caustic - but both may be disqualified because I believe they are both confirmed as having impending AB support in updates.
I'll throw Fiddlewax out there because it's a 99 cent Virtual Midi Controller with a great interface, scales, and chords, but without AudioBus mini controls, it's a bit of a pain to record with.

SynthX - an ARP AXXE (I think) emulation, cool retro interface and more than one way to play

+1, thesoundtestroom introduced me to this one some time ago.
Animoog iPhone version....drives my crazy every time I try to launch it on my IPod .come on Moog!
All by Andrew Dolphin. Excellent atmosphere/soundscape possibilities

Maybe they could throw in MIDI clock synch or quantize for us bad pickers!
Borderlands https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/borderlands-granular/id561369733?mt=8
Drone FX https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/drone-fx/id499500746?mt=8
Buddha Machine https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/buddha-machine-ipad-edition/id394619578?mt=8
Drone FX is a good pick @Paul16. A very unusual and unique app that would be useful if you could capture the output. None of this dev's products have been updated since March/April 2012 so I reckon it's unlikely we're going to see anything though.
Iterator https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/iterator/id570442393?mt=8
is another great unsung app. The dev says that it is impossible to add AB as the code he wrote it in cannot accommodate it.
SynthX, Borderlands, Iterator, sequential
Invisible Drum Set - I don't have this but I would get it if they added AB and kept the price. You play an invisible drum kit with the iPhone in your hand instead of a drum stick.
Rock drum machine as well, which I was hoping would have AB already... At least audiocopy
@Jomazz
You made me go and look again at my copy of Animoog (iPhone) because I was under the mistaken impression it had AB when I DL'ed it... Don't know how I made that error, but I just cleared me some space... :-)
@thinds and @Paul16 - I contacted the developer of DroneFX about AB support and background audio. He said that the problem lay in the third party platform he developed the app with combined with Apple's resrptrictions on how such scripting languages work. He is working on a new version, but as far as I understood it meant starting a lot of the code from scratch. So it's a slow process. He does intend to relapease a major update at some point, so there's no harm in contacting him to show your interest. I will drop him a line that points him at this thread in the meantime.
@thinds - agreed, iterator is another great app which I never use due to its lack of ins/outs I had contacted the dev in the past suggesting AB as it has an excellent interface & sounds & got the same reply.
iterator looks the same spirit than grüvtron.
IShred Live,Space Sampler,Borderlands,Animoog for IPhone,IMachine,Traktor DJ,Launch Pad.
Come on Native Instruments Novation,Moog, you should have the manpower ;-)
Here's a short list of some of the apps which I felt might be considered for ABdom:
Sinewave Synthesizer
Randgrid Synth
Animoog (for iPhone)
Clap Box
Glitch Machine
MoBeat Retro Synth
SrutiBox
Core Synth
SAS-4AS
energyXT
Thump
SHREDDER
The Synth - Crazy trio
I am Synth/Sampler
I have not DLed most of these, so I have no idea what they ('and others) can do. And keep in mind these are what an iPhone will get hits for!
YES! I am Synth/Sampler! How has @sebastian not talked them into it yet?
Speaking of, where are you in Germany @sebastian? Can you go to Hamburg and buy Oliver of NanoLoop fame a beer while you convince him of the awesomeness that would erupt if he got on the bus? kthx.
Just been going back over all the apps that I have deleted because of the lack of AB. I had forgotten these 2 which showed a lot of promise. Still fun to use though.

gruvtron
Beat Pad Pro
