Pls help a noob
Hello, I'm new. Having real head scratching moments trying to get fugue machine to start playing when I press play on AUM.
Fugue is set up to receive midi and armed. The midi matrix is linked. Yet nothing happens.
Fugue is loaded as an IAA because there is no option to load it as an AU.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Also, is anybody using their ipads to compose? My set up is this: ipad voices > es9 audio interface > eurorack filters and analog processing/mixing > record finished track back into ipad
I'm looking for an app which can compose whole tracks, doesn't need audio mixing or effects but a fast UI is important. Xequence 2 has caught my attention but I'm worried it will be fiddly on a tablet. I like the mini sequencers like fugue, so I could record midi into xequence 2... It's a shame AUM doesn't have a timeline with some sequencing ability, simple stuff to meta-sequence the cool mini sequencers available. Even just turn them on/off at certain bars would be really powerful.

Xequence 2 is cool.
To load Fugue Machine as AU in AUM, press + / +MIDI / + / Audio Unit MIDI Processor / Fugue Machine
For an AU sequencer, try Riffer or Thesys (though Thesys is definitely fiddly)
What synth are you using?
Don't forget to push the button to enable the host transport. It's a gotcha virtually unique to FM
