Oh got it now on dial up !

  • Nice! I can add that to my collection of granular apps that I play for an hour, realize I've created nothing worth recording, and then not touching it for another 6 months.

Yuppp! Since this is a fx vs a synth, probably means I'll use it more. Granular hasn't really done it for me, and I have every single granular synth on iOS. Spacecraft came the closest to being a part of my flow.

  • Borderlands can be used as an fx app. Spacecraft also will be capable of live input in its next iteration.

  • Got the beta. Going to have a fiddle with it later. Oooooer!

That's good news about Spacecraft; I love granular live processing apps. iPulsaret is still a favourite for that. I wish Tardigrain allowed for live input. I have just about all the Granular apps and I still regularly use GrainProc for simple live processing. Can anyone confirm that the Bleass app will do live input?

    Yes it will!

  • Cool - I've always wanted Missile Command arcade game as an AUv3 :)

Some years ago I went into using granular fx guitar pedals with synths. The Red Panda Particle started it for me when i saw it being used on a voice line. Now I have a Pladask Fabrikat and a Drolofx Molecular Disruptor.

I too played for many hours with these boxes without recording anything and just having fun.

Now I record every session with a laptop and assigned a key to place a marker on the timeline. So when I like something I hear I just press this key and later it's easy to find that spot and cut it out.

The problem with this kind of working is that practicing this chaos and practicing skillful playing a real instrument is that they become equal. But once I started diving into chaos as some sort of practice that just didn't feel right with a real instrument I got more relaxed about it. That's what these boxes/effects are for. Practicing chaos with real instruments just doesn't feel right and looks weird.

Lmao 😂 I know right. I have like 8 granular apps and the other day I had the nerve to put Bastl Granny on my wishlist. 🤦‍♂️

    I got granular issues.

You can get some Red Panda/Count to Five sounds with Borderlands: Create a feedback loop with a pitch shifter in it, and feed it back into Borderlands live input.
