Great.. Ableton Link was the hold up.. but it’s tempting.. Great video...Thanks
Thanks! You can of course still use apps with ableton link all together, and then simultaneously audiobus the audio of each individual app into cubasis for a smooth recording
Been messing with Ver. 2...Ableton Link would be nice for multiple iPads.. Spin FX is interesting..
I had enough of Cubasis - Auria Pro is the ONLY true fully powered DAW for iOS
It all comes down to workflow, personally auria is far too much like protools for my tastes, plus they had some pretty big update issues recently that crashed alot of people's projects. Remember, competition means we all win!
You are absolutely right my friend - competition is the key to these apps improving. I agree
Cubasis 3 is a great app, again, its ALMOST as good as auria pro - and I agree again with you, Auria Pro = pro tools whereas Cubasis is Cubase, almost a nicer looking cubase actually lol
The updates with auria pro were due to the core midi having a resource conflict in the new iOS 14...apple is the real culprit when it comes to trouble with these apps
Can you tell me, in terms of your workflow, how does your workflow compare from cubasis to auria - and also, do you use Audiobus? Do you think its necessary?
Thanks
I certainly tried Auria for a few months a while back and I open it every now and again to see major updates but as you know it really hasn't changed all that much except for that recent UI upgrade. Auria's workflow was just too many menus, too small of text, and too many things on the screen at any given time, it was quite a headache.
Don't use audiobus/IAA anymore, pretty much stick to AUv3 with the exception of a few looping apps like launchpad, blocswave, ect...
