Please recommend some good apps for doing live screen mirroring
If I want to work with someone and live stream my ipad / iPhone screen over the Internet, let them do the same, we can see each others screens and we can listen to each other's voice, what are good paid / free app options for that? Cheers guys.

Deleted. Maybe my info is out of date.
Cisco Webex Meetings? https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/cisco-webex-meetings/id298844386.
We use it in my organisation and it's stable and fast across most platforms and connection types.
Upfront: I never did this but I just know that people are doing this. Basically the idea is to stream your desktop to a device driver that appears on your computer as a camera. Then you can use just any video conferencing software, e.g. the open source solution jitsi.
AFAIK many people use the open source software OBS (open broadcaster software) for that purpose: https://obsproject.com It’s kind of a swiss army knife for video steaming. Here an article about exactly your use case:
https://streamshark.io/blog/using-obs-as-a-virtual-webcam-on-windows-and-macos/
The missing building block is then to stream your iPad’s screen to your desktop. But this can be solved with iOS developer tooling. But probably there are also ways how to use your iPad as a video source for OBS. Quick search: https://www.reddit.com/r/obs/comments/9iczdx/recordingstreaming_with_and_ipad_through_obs/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
But I think I also heard that you can do that with Zoom directly.
Thanks Nige, looking into it
Thanks Krassman - this looks like it is for desktop and mac, I need to do this ipad to ipad (or iPhone)

I am still so impressed with this one
Zoom allows screen sharing, but I’ll lay odds the latency would be rubbish for music. Plus the audio is volume priority based, not multidirectional, I believe.
Ah, so this is available for iOS too, I see, nice! Looks good.
@TheOriginalPaulB didn't know zoom could do that, thnx
I’m sure you can solve that with OBS. As I say it’s a swiss army knife for anything related to broadcasting video and audio streams. I guess there is also a way how to stream the iPad screen with it.
Regarding the latency problem, you guys could use sonobus. There is even a chapter in the docs how to use it with zoom. https://sonobus.net/sonobus_userguide.html#Using-SonoBus-Audio-with-Zoom-Video
Last but not least, it seems that zoom can also share iOS screens.
Via desktop: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201379235-iOS-Bildschirmfreigabe-mit-Zoom-Desktop-Client
Or directly: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115005890803-iOS-screen-sharing
The good thing about this is you can throttleand set a constant resolution to keep up the quality. I've made several tests and the latency is amazingly low (around 1sec)
I don't need it to make music on real time, latency is fine, stability and voice quality etc would beore important 👌
I’ve not experimented. I just recall trying to sing happy birthday via a 6 node zoom call and it was chaos.
BTW, 1 sec? lol.
@Gavinski so a lot of gaming streamers that I watch use OBS. I have not looked into it much on the iPad. Last time I did this for non music but to help a dev out we used Google Meet.... it was OK but not ideal. We tried Zoom but could not get the screen sharing to work.
Ah, thnx for the feedback @onerez
