Driver Issue
I bought the ZoomL12 and have downloaded the Mac driver but for some reason when I try to find it to install on my DAW (reaper) its not on my dropdown box.It is on my laptop but the DAW doesn't see it.I can record onto a memory card but I can't drop it into reaper that way either.Any help would be great.I have deleted the driver and redownloaded it 3 times now

I think it’s class compliant, so you shouldn’t need drivers on a Mac. Does it appear as an input and output for the Mac without trying through Reaper?
Check in MacOS Audio MIDI setup (usually found in the "Other" folder in Launchpad). Maybe you need to enable the device or something.

Looks like an interesting device. Wish it had ADAT ins and outs, but that's just me.
According to this: https://zoomcorp.com/media/documents/L-12_L-20_L-20R_Driver_V2manual_en.pdf
The driver interface is accessible in the System Preferences.
In the manual https://zoomcorp.com/media/documents/Zoom_LiveTrak_L-12_OperationManual_English.pdf.pdf
it has a small part about connecting it to the computer:
The interface will run in class complaint mode for iOS, but it looks as if it will have more functionality if you install the driver on the Mac.
Once the driver is installed, by grabbing the downloaded package from your download folder and running the installer package by double clicking on it, you then go into System Preferences and make the necessary selections there. As @wim mentioned it looks like you might need to go into the Audio/MIDI setup area as well and make sure the device is enabled for the system.
Then it should be visible to Reaper or any other DAW as an input channel on an audio track. You will know in Reaper because the sample rate and channel count shown on the menu bar at the top of the screen will match what you have for an interface (ie if you have 12 in 4 out enabled then this will show up there as well as the sample rate you have for the interface). You may need to select the interface in the preferences if it wasn't the last interface used.
As far as transferring recordings from the SD card I think it has to be accessed differently than from within Reaper. I wasn't going to copy that part of the manual as well. It should be self explanatory as the manual appears to be written pretty well.
I hope this is useful.
The 5 headphone sends that are separately configurable with their own cue mixes I think might be the winning feature here. - serious potential for fx sends and such
