USB splitter switch?

Is anyone using a usb splitter switch or cable to switch a powered usb hub between a Mac or pc and an iPad with a cck? Would this even work? Looking to switch my interface and midi controllers between the two devices without having to unplug my hub every time.

    I have one and it works great. I don’t use it much now, because I switched to an iConnectAudio4+, which connects to both iPad and Mac.

    I’ll look up the make and model if I can find it.
