‚Fragmented Memories‘ – Two new ambient tracks (Gauss- and Enso-Looper make a great combination)
I just released the first two songs of my new solo project 'Fragmented Memories'. It's supposed to be a new playground for my more personal and experimental songs (than in my band 'Klopstock').
In terms of sound, a lot of it is based on own created loops and fieldrecording, complemented by synthesizer and guitar playing. Apart from my field recorder, my MPC 1000 and my guitar equipment, I create everything with iOS music apps. For example, on the first two songs I use a lot of Zeeon, Enso and Gauss looper.
If you like, I would be happy if you take a listen. I am also curious about your feedback. If you like, you can subscribe to the playlist on SoundCloud. In the future I will add new songs more or less regularly, so it will be a constantly growing playlist.

Added another song:
I like these. Gaus has similarly inspired me with the theme of memory. It's odd that Gaus has that effect but not so much other loopers.
Interesting that the tool evoked the same thing in you.
This interest for the topic of memories and perceptions I've carried around with me for a long time, and for years I've started to record songs in this direction from time to time. But only the renewed involvement with tape loops in the last 2 years (and Gauss and Enso are of course a replica of it), has given me new ideas in which 'language' I could approach it.
I think these classic tape loops (or their digital equivalent in the Gauss app) force you to break rigid beat patterns and think more in terms of musical colors and layers—that certainly helps.
