Thanks. I think the comments brought me to my senses; the audio player is indeed pretty good, and something about the relatively high price made me wonder if there’s something brilliant but not obvious going on. Seems like maybe it’s obvious but not brilliant, instead, and just overpriced (by iOS standards).
Outside of Agonizer, it seems like all these apps got updated for iOS14 and in a couple of cases, a bug fix since. The timing of the sale makes me wonder if Kai Aras is figuring out which apps to upgrade in what to prioritize. If that’s the case, I vote Shockwave, Filter Delay, and RE-1 Tape Machine as the highest priority. Italizer would be on the list but I think it needs more of an overhaul than just an update.

An IceWorks Sale 😍I think I need to buy ALL. Honestly, I'm not so much of an app collector and there is no single developer where I own all of the apps, but when I look at my music apps then the IceWorks apps really stand out because they sound very unique. They have a certain style of timbre that is very specific for their apps. I also love their UIs. Black Friday, I'm sorry I'll spend some of my budget already today.
The only problem with IceWorks sale is that I already own all the apps...
Iceworks apps are really good but for me, the best ones are Kajita, Koshiba, Yukawa, Kronecker, and Lagrange. The other synths although good, and have their own character, don't stand a chance against Lagrange
👍 Very nice.. I like the scale section that shows you alternative chords (borrowed, secondary etc..) and the easy inversions buttons.. Oh, and real-world voicings.. 😁

If you do not have OB-xD grab it, I highly recommend it. One of my favorite and most used iOS synths. They added a keyboard to standalone a little while back too. Tons of presets. Deep, thick, rich sounds. For $5 bucks, forget about it…(in a soprano’s accent)

Yea me too, and the ability to easily see the chord shape with alternate bass note/inversion is clutch. Wish it had sound, and more scales, but not a big deal, its still a very useful app.
