Does Cubasis 2 offer anything that 3 doesn’t? Sounds a silly question but I seem to recall BM2 came with sounds that weren’t In BM3 which almost made it worth a separate purchase. I wondered if there was anything in Cubasis 2 like this.
No, nothing was removed in the upgrade to v3.
@Janosax In my review above I was testing the 1.0 version of the app, and I'm sure there have been updates/upgrades since then.
Thanks to both of you, I will check that.
I’m in the same boat. Lol. However I have like 30gb of samples on my device. I’m regularly offloading them to an external drive, but then I download more. Lol.
Apps bought.
Volcano
Saturn
Timeless
Shaka
Pipa
Drumkit
Moog z
What apps of these did you not end up using?
Not sure about cubasis. Think Id just use MTR for a timeline. Wish it upgraded from 16 bit. I guess for me to work in cubasis. Would be better if Id made stuff in aum. Maybe drums. Then transfered to add synths. Or is it better than multitrack daw. Just for completing audio track work?
Wish Beep Street would get focused on making all of their apps desktop compatible.
Better than SWAM on GeoShred?
Lumbeat

just got the rack screamer. seems to be a bit more refined than the 808. less midrange boost, more low end on the screamer. and it can get cleaner than the 808. the screamer's in/out trim controls are useful. fwiw, /dan
Yes, the Strings Ensemble pack has separate cello notes, they sound like two cello players have played the exact same note with very slight drift. I like it.
Think I missed this one…
4P side and remix is $2 off down to $5.99

@NeuM , all 3 are great in different ways.
If you are a GeoShredder then (to me) the internal GeoCello just feels very immediate and controlled (not sure if that makes sense?).
ThumbJam sounds very sweet, bowing sounds are built in + it is fully polyphonic!
SWAM Cello probably has the biggest set of features / tweakability but you have to set it up appropriately
Bram Bos BF prices are live.
Only because you Aussies are from the future.
Not in the US, I don't believe. Don't forget that the turkey needs to sit outside the oven for at least a half-hour before it's ready to be carved!
All apps are $3.99, as promised?
Yep. AU$6.
So, some are the same price as before the sale - no discount (Scatterbrain, Kosmonaut, Perforator) and others have come down a lot (Ruismaker Noir AU$15, Mononoke AU$14).
where? Europe is not yet discounted
Australia based on the use of AU$
Correct.
All Korg stuff on sale, if not already mentioned. Any opinion on Korg Module Pro organs IAP?
Perfect.
I'm trying to pick a tremolo effect from the sale and I could use some advice.
Would you choose Eventide Undulator or Bleass Dragonfly? And why?
Indeed. Now, should I get Mosaic? How would it help me given that I have no ideas how I would use it. I have everything else.
I can’t tell cause they aren’t on any sales sites, and I own everyone. Except phasemaker and that’s usually $3.99. I think that’s what those 3 fx mentioned are usually, $3.99.
Is it midnight in Australia? Most of the time it takes the App Store a short time to populate changes around the world? Over time I’ve noticed lots of changes (price drops, etc.) happen in my time zone, around 11pm to 3am.
It's nearly 8am now.
