This is interesting. Is there an app that measures how many charges remain before the battery needs to be replaced? I realize the battery gradually lasts less and less.
Not sure if mentioned: oval synth is free

Considering the current stability-state of the 'iMPC Pro 2' apps I would not buy them...
...but then again if one enjoys a deluxe crash fiesta even doing simple things like trimming a sample or moving a marker then by all means go ahead and get them
No. Unlike with android, all data that these apps get is the battery %. So you plug in your charger and it measures the time needed for a change of say +2%. This will give an estimate of the mA charging rate. But you probably cant even estimate the remaining capacity, because you have two unknowns and only one value that is „measured“, so I guess the app just gives the mA value under the assumption that the battery is in mint condition.
It’s possible to find the cycle count on iOS by going into the analytics data, but any tool that tells you this number will be more helpful than the manual search. For iPhone, it’s “recommended” to replace the battery when it has had 500 charges and reaches about 80% of its original capacity. For iPad, the charge number is 1000.
To find your cycle count:
You know it's bad when Samu proactively comes out against it. 😛
If interested in an MPC style/workflow, then check BeatMaker 3, BeatHawk, or Slate in Nanostudio 2.
I cant find „log-aggregated“ and the search bar dont pop up on the top. Only „log-sessions-date.sessions“.
Thx @tehskwrl. I knew about the 1000 charges but not the rest.
