Jockey OSC - not sure when released but sometime this year… $4.99
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jockey-osc/id1553621603
Covering a bunch in one fell swoop.
I would not pay 200$ for this thing.
Wow those prices are crazy high, $12,000. I don’t know much about it, but that seems high. I think the app is $12.99
Hardware SP1200’s typically go in the $5-10,000 US range. The reissue listed above is probably an OG model renovated by Dave Rossum Electro. Rossum is one of E-MU founders. They are selling them for $7500 so I guess whatever the market will bear. Everybody in hip-hop seems to have at least one 1200 in their studio.

Ahh gotcha. Since Covid prices are up across the board. So yea..
I saw a real SP-1200 in action and I’m dead serious, 200$ would be my price (if it was impossible to resell for profit).
Nosltagy is like our children I guess, we love them to dead even if they are not perfect.
There is probably 7952 better options in the appstore than the SP-1200 at 12K$.
But I understand the app. For the price, it’s cool to try it. But for the hardware….
I would gladly pay 40$ for an emulation of vintage gear that connect with my past, but never buy hardware gear at ridiculous price.
Can we stay a tiny bit on topic please
True. Will do.
Al, them new swam woodwinds have been released and it’s a lot of them…
Same dude who made Wythm JR (Marvin Krueger, not Mr Rudess
) has released another app that has music (no own import so far) and image and video export. Magic Fractals 2D is the name.
As a Fractal Geek I have helped him some with input and beta testing and it's no Frax but he definitely has something going.
Im a fractals fan as well.
Cool.thanks.
Do you know how good the saxes are?
>
They’re good. I’m on the beta. But there was so many I’ve only used each sax a couple times. I think you can still sign up, not sure. If so, you can test them out and see what you think. Let me see..
The betas are closed. Actually just noticed you can apply for Camelot pro beta.
@oat_phipps
Swam Apps equal quality, I’ve yet to try anyone I don’t like, they are all really great sounding apps.
I like the soprano sax better then the tenor but they are both good. I guess it depends on sound you want. Soprano seems smoother, and tenor is more growly, even with growl down.
Soprano has 14 presets tenor has 12 presets.
I was gonna do a short video demo, but I think they expressly said not to share anything in the betas. Not sure if that changes once they are out or not.
Yea I was surprised they didn’t have videos in the App Store like the other swamps.
Any YouTube videos out there maybe…
@oat_phipps Also I only have soprano, and tenor in beta. Not alto or baritone. You might get a better idea if you pose that question the audio modeling woodwinds thread…
Jordan Rudess is still DT's keyboardist !

Phazr- free music visualizer by the same developer as synthecater.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/phazr/id1472113449
This looked nice I downloaded and nothing happens on the visualizers, as if it's not receiving audio, not even with the intro
Dang that sucks, Developer is good if you base it off his other app, it looked cool too. I downloaded it, but haven’t tried it. Let me give it a go. And confirm
Mine was definitely moving with the intro music, particularly the drums. Are you on iOS 15.1. Could be an iOS issue…
Closing AUM solved the issue for me
Audio Spleeter
