Started in Korg Gadget, finished in Ableton Live. I kept the stupid working title that Gadget throws up for now. Mastered and finessed enough while I get a sense of the track. Sounds great in my headphones but that could also be a problem if listening thru speakers. I intend to re-master properly later. Just keen to get some quick(ish) feedback if you have time. Sincere thanks.

Ableton Live? (Marked for a listen, later).
Listened through iPhone 8+ up against my ear. There's only one critique of the whole track and that’s the bass line. Sounds very stiff, open and dominant. It doesn’t feel very natural in the mix.
Maybe there’s some EQ’ing needed to settle it in?
Hope this helps.
Very nice song; works fine through just ipad speakers (and earphones). I agree that there’s something not quite right with the bass, at least in the parts where it is most prominent. It works better when there are many voices active later in the track.
@CraigT I like it + I like the Bass . Just shows everybody is different😊
I like the bass as well. I like the whole thing really! Very nice sounding piece altogether, and I’m not big on EDM/Techno type stuff either so that is saying a lot.
Keep it up!
Sincere thanks to all for taking the time to have a listen and post a response. I’m very grateful to all of you.
I acknowledge all comments and re the bass, yeah, it’s a tricky one for this tune for me also. I somewhat agree with @JudasZimmerman’s comments, also. I’ve already begun to remaster it, and re-treat the bass. It’s very big and bold, while being somewhat sparse in the playing. I sort of want it half and half - still somewhat big n bold, but sit a little better in the mix. Will keep plugging away.
I don’t normally produce EDM but have been somewhat gravitating towards it, lately. Wasn’t even sure if it was EDM but I suppose it is.
I just hit the manual on the ‘Streamliner’ metering plugin last night, and that helped me completely remaster the track and treat the bass with a little less girth. I think I have a slightly better mix now, where the bass sits a little better.
I set up what I’d call a ‘launchpad artist page’ over at reverbnation, primarily to use their paid ‘crowd review’ service. I got a couple of comments about the bass there too, but some liked it that way also - similar to here.
If anyone’s curious about my style or sound (I loosely call it electronica), I have four tracks uploaded at reverbnation (link below). All songs began life in Gadget and were finished in Live (with a shitload of plugins).
