Audiobus invalid CFBundleShortVersionString

I can't submit an App Update because the latest AB breaks the CFBundleShortVersionString format.

The value for key CFBundleShortVersionString '3.0.13.1' in the Info.plist file must be a period-separated list of at most three non-negative integers

I'm using CocoaPods, thanks!

  • @mekohler How did Audiobus break the string? You should set that yourself, unless I'm missing something. It may also be better to post this over at https://heroes.audiob.us.

  • Pinging @Michael on this one in case he doesn't see the post.

They released an update with an invalid string for their version #. I've never had to set version / build #'s for CocoaPod libraries, only my own Target.

  • @mekohler Gotcha, weird. I guess you could probably (hopefully) change it manually but I agree it should be fixed from the source.

  • Oh, that's annoying! Okay, let me just issue another SDK update with a different version string, @mekohler . Wasn't aware of that limitation - pretty stupid that Xcode lets you set the field in a way that it doesn't support.
