Hip hop best auv3 app
Hey guys
I hope everybody is doing well
I use my iPad for at least 7-8 to make music (mainly hip hop from boom bap to modern hip hop)
I use BM3 as my main DAW (love the sampler !!!) and also koala sampler when I want to use as a Sp404 way !
Of course AudioShare is my go to for samples and files management
Here’s my top auv3 & instrument app to make hip hop :
Rx950
Msxii Lo-Fly dirt
Msxii FlyTape
Tb barricade
Tb reelbus
4pockets Time machine
Fac transient
Bass 808
Neo soul keys 2
Pure synth
Poison 202
Model D
What’s your favorite instrument and auv3 app ?
Take care everyone and thanks for your feedback / advice about new app

Great recommendations. Koala is still on my top list. I have Beatmaker 3 but haven't used it much. Currently using Garageband as my main software DAW, but I'm learning a few others.
Here's the other apps I've been using
1. Ampify Groovebox, Blocs Wave, Launchpad, Figure, Gadget 2, Nanostudio 2, and Reason Compact (IAA/Standalone)
2. Reslice, Beathawk, Audiolayer - AUv3 Samplers
3. TONALY (although Horucco, which was recently released looks cool), Firo4 - MIDI apps
4. Drambo - everything?
5. Bass 808, Pure Synth, Neo Soul Keys 2 (but I'm using House Mark 1) - AUv3 instruments and synths
Koala and BM3 are on top of my list ! Still have a sp303 , 404og and 404 sx on my studio and use it almost everyday (so yes I love koala
)
Thanks for your list, I also have some of app you use too (blog Waves, beat hawk.. but I just use it time to time !
Never use Drambo personally (bm3 is top for sampled based production) and you’re right I also use house mark1 too
Tonaly is cool to use ! I saw many apps like this and don’t know which one I can try (tonaly, polyphase, blipped...)
So cool anyway to see which apps you use in your workflow
Digistix - AUv3 Drum Sampler/Sequencer is my favorite drum app, with Drum Computer in a close second. The out of the box presets are ok but the real fun DS is to drag and drop some samples to make some great kits. I like to make a folder for each kit in audioshare, move the samples I want to a folder, then drop them onto the pads. I try to to find pitched kicks and snares and fill the rest iN by ear, so the kits are “tuned” so to speak, but you can change pitch, amongst a lot of other things. it has its own sequencer inside, or you can sequence it, midi in/midi out, record your pad playing, patterns to make a song, midi learn, It has probability, random pattern creation, 5 velocity layers or round robin layers per pad. Also you can do triples, and rolls. Great for any style of music really.
Beatformer- I put on overly single drum channel.
Koala FX would be my favorite AuV3 for beats.
Not an AuV3, but Garageband would be my pick. Free, tons of sounds, AuV3 host, great sampler.
Tube AU and Radio Unit are great for digital 'crate digging'
