iPad for live backing tracks- what can it handle?
Just curious what y'all in this forum are using for running backing tracks live.
Right now I do either 1 of 2 things. Run a pre-mixed wav/mp3 file off the iPhone. easy back cant make adjustments. Or i lug my Macbook and play the master Logic sessionwith all the stems. In both situations sending the click to the drummer. I am so surprised there is no Logic Lite or something for the iPad.
Cubase? SOundcue? Auria?
So how is the processing power? how much automation can the iPad handle? I have seen some threads of CPU spikes, is that still a thing? I would be ditching my rack FX processors and doing all the delays, reverbs ect "in the box" for my vocal chain.
