Good tip Jamie!
Nice one!
Designer types will be vexed that there’s no eyedropper tool to match the colors among different nodes.
For example: I may have a dozen Atom clips in an AUM session, all sending to various synths AUs. The color-picking is a godsend to keep things straight.
But — world’s smallest violin begins playing now — you have to pick your color and saturation by eye. As a result, all my Layr clips (and Layr itself) are in the same bluish hue. The control freak in me wants them all to be Pantone 292.
Poor me.
I saw some people doing that but didn’t know how. Cheers!
I did think that myself. I like the way that works in NuRack. Maybe it’ll come next.
when you save the color with the name assigned to it, is it saved somewhere ? or do we have to redo the name and color for each inst/ midi controller etc ?
tx for the tip !
Sadly it isn’t saved. It would be nice if it was like NuRack where you can copy and paste colours or if there was one of those little “dropper” tools. Maybe they’ll add that feature later.
