Primer synth - Syntorial
You probably know all about this synth but thought I’d share in case you didn’t. I think it sounds amazing and is free.

Even comes with a trainer app

Lots of free but be advised the full version is a $129 In-App purchase.
– but has short-but-deeply-discounted sales (typically 40% off) a couple of times a year. These are only available through the website (the price is a bundle for desktop and iOS, and if you buy from the website you get a code for the iOS version), and you need to keep your eyes open, but someone here usually clocks them. Also, the first five chapters (of 30) are free, and well worth working through; the first two or three fly by, but the fifth (on filter and amp envelopes) is starting to get quite meaty, and is genuinely useful even if you never go any further.
The synth is pretty good and free no?
Yes, yes, and it comes with @Spidericemidas presets (yes please).
For a free synth it offers a lot of fun and huge range of design possibilities. I really enjoyed tweaking out stuff for it. Joe at Syntorial is always very nice and helpful too. I didn’t subscribe to the tutorial part, but I did join their website forum. They do some pretty cool things on there. Patch challenges, patch requests and features on musicians etc. All good stuff.
