Great and the update is quite nice
@CaelumAudio : The good news is everything is working AOK in my setup (iPad Air2020/iOS 14.3). Only thing I want to share are quibbles with the UX -
About the preset menu - iOS has trained user-behavior that to scroll-up to the top of a listbox, you put your finger down and move it down. The Flux Mini current UX is that when I do a touch and drag down, the selection-highlight moves down. There is no "throw to scroll" - instead if I want to scroll, I have to move my finger beyond the edge of the menu. Makes sense and all, but isn't the expected iOS UX.
About the presets - When I click the name of a preset on top of the window, I expect a drop-down menu which will list all of the presets (Like how it shows up when you click the downwards arrow.) Instead when I click on the large preset-name, I am given a text-prompt to change the name. I'm wanting to change the preset, but instead I get the text-keyboard popping up over half my screen. Personally, as a user, I'm far more likely to change between presets then to change the name of one. I'd think name-changing would only be a thing after pressing the 'save' button.
When "snap to grid" is on, I keep expecting the nodes to move by actually snapping as they move, not just when I let-go and then they snap to the closest intersection. Took me a while to realize that the snap-mode was actually working since the jumps between grid-vertex are so small.
I know I personally have hella problems double-tapping to delete nodes and usually end up creating a bunch of new nodes instead. Maybe increase the space around each already-existing node? If I want to add a node, I can always tap elsewhere in some empty area and drag it into place.
A preset idea to include would be a square wave pulse for a straight chop/tremolo effect or multiple offset square waves for un-even pulses. That's what I've mainly been doing with it.
Hope the above is of some value. As always, just one shmuck's opinion, but yeah, the presets and naming thing annoys me.
Having some fun connecting Flux points and curves to LFOs

@Pxlhg , is there a simple explanation / demo etc as to how you do this please? have tried Googling but can’t find anything. Have Flux but not midiLFO but it is the basics I am after. Thanks
Sure, it's very easy, if a bit tedious. The midiLFO has four LFOs so one dedicated CC number for each and then I added the same CCs in different orders to the points in FLUX, the above has 5 different points and curves assigned, so 20 cc assignments just for that. You could draw some curves in LK too and get the same result, the good thing about midiLFO is that each LFO can affect the next so you get a very big span of unpredictability. Hope that answers your question.
Thanks @Pxlhg , it probably answers my question but I will need some time to work it out!
Sorry for the double post, but just want to make sure people are aware of the warning:
Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that we have just submitted version 1.1.0 of Flux Mini to the App Store for review.
Here are the release notes:
As the release notes state there is now MIDI input to the plugin, unfortunately this has meant that hosts that we have tested don't recognise it as the same plugin. Because of this, please either render any important channel that uses Flux Mini to audio, or refrain from updating for now - MIDI input triggering is pretty cool though so we do recommend updating!
New: route MIDI to the plugin to trigger the envelope. MIDI note-ons can either retrigger the envelope or trigger envelope one-shots.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the update!

@Pxlhg it’s amazing how something unintended like that creates such great results right!
@CaelumAudio great update! Not in my store yet, but eagerly awaiting to trigger the envelope! Maybe it’s just me, but I think this is such a powerful little app, just add it to a sound source and being able to alter the envelope is what I was looking for!
2 great points.
Yeah, I think it's fun experimenting and even if it doesn't end up being a finished tune one learns using the tools.
Thanks again for developing such a fun, easy to use plugin.
+1
such a game changer for me, so easy to shape nice gates/ sidechains. Can't believe it's free
How in the world did you make and post this moving image!!??
It's a short screen recording (max 15 sec) that are converted to a gif animation with 'Video to GIF' app.
Using it as an envelope on white noise in Drambo atm to create hats/ layers for hats, drums. It’s pretty nifty, even you can do some of it in Drambo, the curves are great and I find it easy and fun to edit. Getting some nice (unexpected, organic sometimes) results. Great and useful app!
Questions:
1) can Audio Flux control exposed parameters from other AUs?
2) can you route midi to the MIDI LFO AU for one shot triggering of a LFO in the same way Audio Flux allows?
