Animoog "unofficial" timbres
Just wondering of anyone is using custom timbres for Animoog, and if they have any cool presets for them. Looking around the net I found the following with links still active (some links are in the comments):

The Sunsine Audio Animation Vol 3 pack of 64 timbres, which they were giving away for free after they discontinued the product, is not available anymore. There was another one by Tony Kalt called Set of 18 Timbres where the download link is now broken. I'd like to get these two sets if anyone has them.
What other sets or presets for them have you found that might be of interest?

Alba ecstasy has a free pack

Broken link
Adding presets is easy, not so for timbres/waves. Has anyone found a way with the lastest version of Animoog? Discchord directions no longer work....

There was bigger free pack which I can't seem to find on his site now but there are 8 preset free packs that you can download now...
Alba also has awesome sets and some are free of sunrizer, nave and wavemapper too
I don't see any timbres from Alba, just presets for the stock Animoog timbres.
I was able to get custom timbres working in the new version. They're in a different location now - just look for a folder with a bunch of wav files. I think that you need to use iFunbox now to add presets cause they're located in a subfolder that you can't access with iTunes, but I could be wrong about that.
I've made some good new patches by simply replacing the timbres of my existing patches with the timbres I got from the links above. In many cases you don't have to replace all of the timbres within a patch cause the patch will only use one or two of them on the Y plane.
Oh, and at http://animoog.org/database/timbres/ you can download the pack of 4,300 "Adventure Kid timbres". I haven't tried any of them yet cause it seems way too daunting.

Wow ...cool site and that's a lot of timbres!!...thanks , will give them all a shot . I am so grateful for the Random option in animoog ;-)
I'm currently sharing 50 new Animoog presets that I made using the timbres available in the links above consisting of mostly leads and pads. I wanted to see what could be done using ONLY the new timbres and none of the existing/stock ones that came with Animoog.
I've also included an archive with all of the timbres I used and the presets that came with them so you don't have to hunt down and download each pack separately. You'll need the timbres for my presets to work correctly. I didn't make the timbres, many thanks to the work of those who did and shared them with us all.
Installation: In the current version of Animoog, use iFunBox to place the timbres in the [Animoog]/Library/Caches/samples directory. The presets go in the [Animoog]/Documents/presets folder, and you'll most likely want to create a sub-folder to place the new ones in.
Enjoy! I had fun making the presets.

Thanks Coloobar. There are very cool sounds there.
thanks for these!
thx will try it tonight!
Thanks for sharing this, @Coloobar
A couple of the presets crash Animoog for me: MKaccordion and MKmetalblox, but otherwise these are some very nice sounds - thanks again.
Hmm. I'll take a look tonight... perhaps one of the timbres from the preset is missing.

either that or the timbre is corrupt, or not in the right format (I think they have to be very precise in terms of length). I've the occasional timbre in the past that would crash Animoog.
Looks like it's the same timbre in both patches that may be corrupt. It's 10X the size of the others in that same group so I think that's the one, anyway. I replaced the timbre in both accordion and metalblox with something else, so try redownloading the presets and give them a try.
Thanks, I will check it out when I next get the chance - probably tomorrow.
Great thanx a lot for share
sadly I can't open the latest RAR files that have been uploaded, I opened the first set without problems.
Not sure what happened there. I re-archived them though so it should hopefully unpack for you now.
