Cubasis media bay help

Hi
I've imported a lot of files in the media bay of cubasis 3 and i'd like to sort them into new folders (and, ideally, to import new files into these folders). all i seem to be able to do right now is drag and drop each file into a folder, which is taking forever. is there a quicker way? i was going to jsut re-import into the created folders, but that doesn't seem to work. I tried linking to my imac, but i can't open cubasis files on the Finder window.
Finally - i imported entire folders from Audiosahre, but now it seems i can only import one file at a time.
Generally, I need help with file sorting/importing, and nothing i've read so far seems to get to these particualr issues. Maybe i'm missing something?
Cheers
Matt - using Cubasis 3, iPad, 6th gen, imac - catalina

Ummm I found this to be confusing/painful too. I think in the end I was able to drag and drop whole folders full of samples straight into Cubasis 3 using the Files app... but I can't remember if that was straight from Google Drive or if I downloaded them to my iPad first...

Does any of this discussion help?

  • I think the only way to arrange the files is to use the Files.app, browse to Cubasis folder, create sub-folder and organize the files there, I know not optimal solution but that's the way I do it.

On the other hand Files.app can connect to a server (SMB Share / macOS File-Sharing) so you could arrange the files on your computer and then use the Files.app to copy the organized folder into the Cubasis folder.

If you already have files organized in AudioShare you can use Files.app to copy the entire folder to Cubasis.

That's just a few ways to do it.

  • Hi there, hope this video helps. You need to do that with Files app. You can select multiple files to move into different folders.
