Voicelive 3 with iPad. Anyone?. Plus ... Any way to fix latency on recorded track?

Hi,
I decided to give my trusty Voicelive 3 a try with the iPad, since it’s supposed to serve as audio interface. Seems to be class compliant as the iPad recognizes it, I can record it’s outputs, listen to the iPads tracks.... BUT. I noticed a pretty bad latency, the recorded signal is behind by a noticeable amount. I’m using Zenbeats with the minimum 128 buffer.
Has anyone had any experience with the Voicelive to record into iPad?. There’s no info on the manual.
It’s nice to have this single unit with no additional interface. I actually like the sound and effects in it and it’s fast to go through presets and find a good starting point to tweak, plus the dedicated buttons are really handy.

Question 2. Given a track recorded with latency... is there an AUV3 plugin or something like that to nudge the audio?. I’m using clips in Zenbeats so I can’t drag the clip on the timeline... a delay won’t work since I have to nudge it forward (which maybe sounds impossible).
