New to AUM, I need help setting AUM to bypass StepPolyArp

This is my very first day with AUM and I’ve been trying to wrap my head around this most of the day:
Basically I just want to be able to bypass StepPolyArp, so that I can play ChordPolypad with arp or without arp. Nothing too fancy.

I did this:

And it works. I Midi mapped the bypass to my MidiFighter Twister. BUT whenever StepPolyArp is ON, there are extra unwanted midi notes, I suppose that my Launchpad are now adding to ChordPolyPad, making a mess. It makes sense as MIDI IDAM is now feeding StepPolyArp twice I guess but I don't know how to do otherwise.

Any thought?

Another thing I’m confused about is the Preset Load section. I’d like to change presets of StepPolyArp but no preset come up when I press “add action”. I do have presets named #002 etc stored.

Thanks for any help.

    To solve the preset problem, i think you need to have them stored as AUM preset. Your list in the dialog showed up empty. Just load each of the preset from StepPolyArps preset system and store each of them again as AUM preset using the rightmost icon in au’s titlebar.

    There is a setting in SPA that toggles program change between preset and pattern?

    Also, another option is Sending CC21 to SPA will change the pattern. You can stay in the same preset and have 16 patterns??
