WoodSynth in GarageBand

Does anyone have the new WoodSynth app working in GarageBand? It works standalone just fine, but nothing in GarageBand using either the on screen or a midi keyboard.

    Hi there, I just tried it and no I'm not getting any sound from it in Garageband. I just wrote the dev and will get back to you. cheers

    Wim wrote me back this morning and did confirm there is a problem with the app. Watch for an update very soon!

    @djpuzzle @Bassey : problem is caused because WoodSynth is also an effect ('aumf') to allow recording samples from an audio track. Garageband is apparently very strict and does not call the plugin processing when an instrument also adds an input. And ok normally an instrument does indeed not need input however all the other DAW's don't have a problem with this. Still looking for a good solution (as I don't want to give up the samples recording)

    How good is WoodSynth. Soundwise/characterwise, as a synth and do the zones plus sequencer tied within a note offer value to music production styles?
