Cubasis 2...how to move loop marker to retain length?

Hi
In BM3 you can drag the loop marker and it retains its brace length..
How to do this in Cubasis 2 please?
In screenshot l have a 12 bar loop...so I want to drag it along the timeline and keep it at that length for the moment...but I cannot do it..
Can it be done?
Thanks...

  • Tried again with two hands...kinda worked....

  • In Cubasis you can't do that but you can long-tap on any region to set the loop brackets to loop it...

  • Thanks Samu....

  • I hate to contradict Samu as he is wise, but Cubasis 2 does allow moving the region, CB 3 does not. I’ve requested the feature already for CB3. I was disappointed when it didn’t carry over.

In CB2 long press either the L or R marker. The entire region will then be highlighted. You can then move the entire region.

Perfectly ok, I no longer have CB2 installed on my device so I might miss a thing or two, sorry...
Even in CB2 I always used the long-tap, never know there was a way to 'move' the handles in groups.

    Thanks!

Which is one of my least favorite features in the app. Anytime you go to edit a region if you press it for longer than a half second the loop markers instantly shrink to that region size.

Since I usually have my loop points set for the duration of the track there’s a work around where you create a region as long as your song/arrangement and assign it to track one, so if the markers get shifted you can move them back more quickly than manually moving them by long pressing the region to reset the markers.

It’s too fiddley in my opinion, I wish Steinberg would put a control in the settings to turn it off if you
    want.
