What is USB PnP?
I just got my Anker hub and have connected my iConnectMIDI2+ up to it through the USB-A port. For some reason I cannot find one app that detects my iConnectMIDI2+ pass through audio except Gauss Looper. Doesn't show up in Cubasis, FRMS, AUM, Ape Matrix, Loopy and on down the line. I fully expected it to show up for any app that allows audio in. The only entry in the above apps is "USB PnP Audio Device". I can tell the audio is passing into the iPad cause i can record it in Gauss. But why won't it show up in any other app?

PnP is just slang for "Plug 'n Play", so it's almost certainly your interface. The apps are just not getting the ID string from the device, which would let them show the correct name. Have you tried using that device?
Thanks! I don't know what that device is to use it. I only have one device plugged in besides my headphones.
Sorry. I was trying to say that your iConnectMIDI2+ is being detected by those apps as a "USB PnP Audio Interface" (which it actually is). They're just not bothering to get the correct name. If you use it in the app, it ought to work.
O, I see. I’ll have to try again but I don’t think it worked.
When you have the iconnect plugged in are you still getting sound out of the internal speaker of the iPad.? IRC the audio pass through happens at the system level. I have 2 iPads hooked up through one and the both can send audio and midi to either but require an external sound card to get any out out of the iPad once they are talking to each other.
sorry, I overlooked this question. I don't get audio from the iPad speakers when I have iConnect plugged in.
