  • I can't help but notice that the word "MIDI" is nowhere to be found on that page.

It‘s probably the same mode of operation as the Casio DG10 Midi guitar.
There‘s a trigger (magnetic) attached to each string and micro switches below the frets.
Whenever you press a string the switch at the respective fret position is closed.
String tension or tuning doesn‘t matter, it‘s fixed velocity and no slide, bending or vibrato is possible.
Here‘s as good as you can play the thing... note the dude‘s left hand motion. The instrument doesn‘t react at all to this, all sound modulations are static from the internal synth.
He plays through all the presets. Ar 1.30 there‘ a cool clavinet and it ends with Smoke on the Water :D

Yeh, I think all the sounds are onboard. I don't think it does midi.

  • That's the Jammy midi guitar, definitely a scam site, but it does do midi (or it would do if it was genuine). It's on Amazon for $499. The picture below is from the OP's original link.

    Thanks for the Jammy hint...
they added all that Casio left out and improved the rest, a 30 years journey from 1987 to 2017.

Oops. Somehow I managed to overlook the MIDI Output in the graphic.
