AUM live with backing tracks and in ear monitors... help me think this through
I'm currently using AUM live with backing tracks and in ear monitors. Right my IEM's play back what the audience hears, but there's a few songs where I need to hear a click track and/or audio cues that the audience shouldn't.
I've got a Alesis IO Dock II with two ins/two outs (AUM sees them as L/R channels) and then there's a separate headphone jack.
I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how to set this up in AUM. The backing tracks are in stereo right now, but they probably don't need to be. I'm thinking of mixing the backing tracks down to mono, and running on L, then having the click on the right. But I'd like to hear both channels in both ears if possible. The channel that's playing the backing tracks needs to come out of BOTH L and R outs on the IO interface (each runs to a separate PA speaker).
Thanks
