SWAM Roadmap
Cannot believe I just used to the term roadmap 😫 Anyway...
Wondering if there’s a timeline for all the other swam instruments on ios, and also I vaguely remember there being grouped instruments (strings?) but maybe have imagined that. Although o suppose multiple instances auv3 would be possible.

Oh wow thanks that also answered my other thread about world instruments, I’m so curious what they’ll include, it’s like my dream team
Yes. Unfortunately the world instruments are a bit of a wait. Once they are out, they will be my most used purchase for sure. I’m very excited to see what they come up with for world instruments.
I can say two things with utmost confidence: 1. the wait will be MUCH MUCH MUCH longer than this roadmap suggests; a lot longer. And 2. the finished product will be, literally, the greatest product in its class ever released by humans
I really want something with a lot of good asian instruments. A suona is my grail
Wow, even though it's not until 2022, i'm intrigued by the world instruments.
I'd love a duduk and ney.
I posted a jam with GeoOboe for which I was criticized for lack of authenticity, but I was trying to phrase the oboe like a zurna more than like a Western classical oboe. So I'd be up for a zurna too.
Although it's entirely synthesised, the Mellow Duduk preset in Seaboard 5D, Noise, & Equator is still my all-time favourite MPE patch (as well as Roger Linn's favourite ROLI preset).
Synthesized is fine.
I have an Osmose on preorder. That is the reason I have not spent money on MPE hardware from another manufacturer. Also, I am waiting to see, hear, and play whatever presets come inside the Osmose, before I spend money on more physically modeled instruments - hardware or software/app. I'm not really interested in 100% accurate/authentic reproductions of real acoustic instruments. I'm more interested in synthesized instruments that behave in an alive sort of fashion.
