Arpeggiator like Ableton Live Arpeggiator Midi effect hold/repeat or midi clip launcher
I've been spending literally hours looking for an iOS arpeggiator (preferably an auv3 or audiobus compatible one) with arpeggiator functions similiar to what you can do in an ableton live midi effect rack with an arpeggiator - MOST particularly the way the Hold function works. Every single arpeggiator I've seen in iOS with a hold/latch function is indefinite until another note is sent. I want to be able to set the REPEATS to a non-infinite number. E.g. press a chord once, lift off- arpeggiate through that chord X number of times without holding and not indefinitely.
Has anyone got an idea how to do this?
I can't work out how to get this functionality in Drambo or any modular style apps with midi manipulation. I ended up using Mozaic to write a script to hold a note for X number of milliseconds when sending note On.
Why am I doing this, you may ask? To work out a better way to send MIDI out to a Launchpad X to do lightshows on iOS.
An even better functionality would be a way to trigger entire pre-recorded midi clips by note on signals. Like a one-shot drum rack but with midi clips instead of audio samples?
Does this exist?!

Easiest way is to sequence your chords and send the sequencer output into the arpeggiator.
@urbanvanilla Have you looked at, or tried, LK? It's getting a lot of development right now. It should definitely have MIDI clips covered.
LK is definitely a front runner. Wouldn't be able to run two midi clips in the same track simultaneously (e.g. the columns on a launchpad) but that's probably not a deal breaker. I think even better by using MIDI learn and not using Session mode on my launchpad.
It's especially good because you can make it stop play after each clip by changing Follow in properties.
I would love if LK had a step input record function or if Atom could export midi clips - apparently this is coming really soon. So this might be my best solution.
